Full engine top-end rebuild with hardened valve seats, rings, timing chain, all seals and starter by previous owner.
Excellent engine compression at about 150psi both sides. Rebuilt
Bing carbs. Deep sump oil pan.
Original 4 speed transmission rebuilt by BMW airhead expert.
paint in excellent condition. Powder coated frame, including battery box, swing arm and center stand.
Full stainless bolt kit. Euro style handlebars.
Original working speedometer, tachometer and odometer with correct mileage.
Rebuilt wheels with stainless spokes. Koni shocks.
Recent steering head bearings (2018). Billet upper triple clamp.
Splines lubed (2019).
headlamp and Brown side stand.
Electric and kick start.
No leaks. Newer battery (battery tender kept).
Original matching seat lock and steering lock with keys.
Matching numbers. Complete tool kit, original BMW shop rag and hand pump.
Covered about 4,600 miles in 13 years of ownership. The bike was restored by previous (first) owner just before I purchased it. So about 5,000 miles on the rebuild.
Imperfections: One very tiny ding on the left side chrome tank panel (doesn’t show up in photos). Some minor paint scrapes on the fork ears. One tiny chip in the headlight bucket paint. A very small scrape on the front fender (touched up). The paint on the tank is outstanding. Some paint wear on the tail light cover. Overall it looks as good in person as it does in the photos.
